Description of Brother Bear

In a post ice-age Alaska, local tribes beleive all creatures are created through the Great Spirits. Three brothers Kenai, Denahi, and Sitka. Each borhter recives a totem necklace that has an animal on it that symbolize what they have to do to call themselve men. Kenai is dissapointed that he recieved a bear which stands for bear of love. He says bears are thieves which comes true when a brown grizzley snatches their basket of fish that they had spent all morning catching. Kenai and his brothers go out to find the bear in which his older brother Sitka gives his life to save them. Kenai blames the bear on Sitka's death and goes back out to find it. He finds the bear and slayes it, the spirits are unhappy and transform Kenai into a bear. Kenai finds himself stuck in bears body as punishment from the Spirits. Kenai has a journey on his hands, finding out how to survive as a bear. In order for Kenai to get turned back into a human he must travel to a mountian where the Northern lights touch the earth.
